Happy Valentines Day!
I am still reminiscing what a wonderful time we had last night at The 53rd Grammy Awards Night at Staples Center with our great friends Jorge Bueno and Mary Anne Morcos. What an experience to walk down the red carpet, walking with celebrities from all over the world! The lights, the glitz, the dresses, the cameras, news reporters, body guards… such a “behind the scene” dream come true!
Security was so tight that we were not allowed to take photos but the experience is truly unforgettable!
As we settled into our seats and I looked at the stage, it felt so surreal to see the actual Grammy stage I have seen on TV growing up… I felt like I was there but that I was dreaming! Have you ever felt a moment so perfect that you didn’t want it to end? That’s how I felt last night… Sitting next to Mary Anne and Jorge to my left and my wonderful husband Gary to my right as we watched the performances of
and my favorite, Barbara Streisand
As well as seeing a few Hollywood celebrity presenters:
I kept on telling myself, it couldn’t get any better than this!
As we walked out of the Staple Center for our after Grammy dinner, we opted to not join an Grammy after-party and instead decided on a nice dinner at the Yard House at L.A. Live. I can’t believe that we’ve lived in Los Angeles for over 20 years and we have not heard of nor have been to the L.A. Live, right across from Staples Center! If you’re ever in Los Angeles, be sure to stop by there! It’s quire spectacular!
I truly enjoyed my dinner.. a fine meal of “Lobster Burger”, Truffle Parmesan Fries and a glass of Youngberry Chocolate Brew. It was heavenly!
Sure, The Grammy experience was awesome and dinner was amazing but you know what the real highlight of the evening was for me?
It’s being able to spend events like these with people I love and trust… my FRIENDSHIP with two incredible people whose vision and life’s mission align with mine… leaders and mentors I truly admire and adore… It is the realization that I have a precious and priceless RELATIONSHIP with Jorge and Mary Anne that truly was the highlight of my evening!
If you have been near and around Jorge, you would understand what I am talking about. Jorge is simply brilliant! He has the best ideas about life, finance, commerce, defense, personal development – start a topic and he will keep that going! He’s so knowledgable! What’s even so refreshing is to see Mary Anne and Jorge just interact and love on each other… they are a match made in heaven!
As we drove home last night, I couldn’t stop thinking about how my life was last year…
A year ago, I first met Jorge Bueno through our mutual friend, Jerry Chen… he introduced us briefly over the phone. On November 2009, Jorge and I were invited to Palm Springs Television Studios by our mutual mentor, Joel Bauer. The instant I met Jorge, I felt like I have known him all my life!
When we met, Jorge was launching his Business Codex – A money getting system where you literally “become the bank”…
I knew Jorge was one of those people whom I could stand behind because of his integrity and desire to really positively make an indelible change in people’s lifes.
I attended his events, supported the promotion of his events, applied his teachings, nurtured the friendship and a year later, I was sharing a seat with him at The Grammys!
What’s astounds me about all this is that IT TAKES MOST PEOPLE A LIFETIME to build a relationship this deep and this powerful, yet it only took me months…
That’s the “RELATIONSHIP CURRENCY” I have been talking to people about…
People think it’s about leads, traffic, immediate profits but in reality, nothing is more powerful than RELATIONSHIP CURRENCY!
I will be starting a series of micro-trainings on the power of true RELATIONAL MARKETING to grow your business so stay tuned!
