Happy “Dada” Gary Day, 2011!

I awoke at 1:30 am today and created this photo slideshow for “Dada” Gary…

Looking back at the snapshot of our past two years, this truly has captured the profound father and son relationship he and Garrett have.

I told him that anytime he’s feeling…

Overwhelm
Disappointed
Doubtful
Sad
Frustrated
Uncertain
And whatever “icky” feeling he goes through in his life

I would love for him to watch this video over and over to remind him that he simply is:

OUR HERO

My "Dada"... My Hero - by Garrett Tiebens

“Dada” was the first word Garrett ever uttered when he was 2 months old. I thought for sure it would be “Mama”, but Gary won that well-deserved honor.

Garrett and I want to thank him for all that he is and all that he does to be sure we continue to respect each other and support each other’s dreams and really knowing that:

GOD LIVES IN THIS HOME…
FAMILY COMES FIRST…
DREAM BIG DREAMS…

To all you wonderful Father’s out there, a very HAPPY FATHER’S DAY to you. You are the pillar of the family… the seat from whence dreams begin… You are all heroes!!!

Yes, like most “Mompreneurs” – wife, mother, entrepreneur – I am an expert at multi-tasking and making sure clients are cared for, Garrett’s school work is done, there’s food on the table, the bills are paid and the family has a social calendar. At times, I may seem like I don’t need any support as I am so capable and I have it all together….

Truth be told, it is my husband Gary’s love, support and belief in me that has enabled me to live our dreams and make all these happen.

For that…

I HONOR YOU, “DADA” GARY!!!

To all you wonderful Dads…. HAPPY FATHER’S DAY… may you all be honored, pampered and showered with love today and always!!!  You are all heroes!  (Always have… always will be as I have shared in my last year’s Father’s Day post… click here to read that post)

Cheering You On To Your Success!

Emma 😉

  1. Thank you Richard! Yes, these two are the best buddies ever! I too love that movie… I cried when I first saw it and I still cry every time I see it! Giant Hugs!

  2. Hello Lisa! Thanks sooo much for your kind words.. yes, those two are my inspiration and the reason I do what I do… I absolutely agree… “we should always be grateful and embrace this journey” – and if I may add, be in the moment and celebrate the now! Take care, Lisa!
